Disconnect to Reconnect

We have been a little quiet the last few days on social media, simply taking time to disconnect with one area of life, so that we can fully connect with another. Over the long weekend we fully immersed ourselves in family. We explored the established gardens at the Biltmore; ate amazing meals at some of our favorite restaurants; spent quality time with our animals at the farm; cooked family dinners; sat by the lake; went swimming; and repaired some things around the house.

Even though our immediate family does not live in the same state as we do, we are so grateful that everyone makes the time to travel and visit; plan new adventures together and appreciate the time we have together. We have both learned so much from our parents (and siblings) that we look forward to carrying forward as our own family grows.
